Meet Dr Tebogo Deo

Dr Tebogo Deo

Background

Prior to sub-specialising, Dr Deo served as a Chief Specialist & Head of Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology in 1 Military Hospital. In this capacity, she acted as advisor to the then Minister of Defence in matters pertaining to women’s health.

True to her dedication to sharing knowledge, Dr Tebogo Deo engages as a community educator in women’s health, particularly fertility-related matters, by advising on several TV programmes on SABC, News Africa, eTV and DStv. She frequently features on several radio stations including Power FM, Motsweding FM, Channel Africa, Kwekwezi FM, Mhlobo Wenene FM and is active on various social platforms.

She has also co-authored a book called Raw Ambition with her husband and fellow Rhodes alumni about their journey through university.
